About the Organization

Native Like Water (NLW) prepares and reintegrates Indigenous youth through elders into ocean recreation, wellness, and intergenerational cultural self-exploration, emphasizing a sacred Indigenous relationship to water and a shift from surviving to thriving.

The organization also offers programming for the broader public, curating cultural experiences through an Indigenous lens with a focus on cultural conservation, travel, surf, food as medicine, and education, with over 24 years of service to local communities.
