Emily Sanchez, a Whittier, CA native and San Diegan for the past decade, is the founder of Happy Girl Club, a Women’s Social Club created to bring women in the community together. Driven by her passion for building connections, Emily has created a welcoming space where women can share experiences, form friendships, and support one another.
Happy Girl Club is more than just a social group; it’s a space for women to inspire and motivate each other as they pursue their goals. Emily believes in the importance of collaboration and encouragement, and through this club, she aims to help women feel inspired, motivated, and spark those “Happy Girl” moments.

Crystina Rowntree is our Community & Operations Manager from Las Vegas, NV. With over a decade of experience in PR, events, and strategic partnerships, Crystina is excited to use her creativity at Happy Girl Club to expand our growing community and curate events with local businesses and creatives! A true girl's girl through and through, she is passionate about creating spaces and experiences where women feel welcomed, inspired, and empowered to be their authentic selves.
Outside of work, she enjoys a good pilates class, thrifting, going to the beach, live music, and podcasting as her creative outlet.
Community Impact Coordinator
Thega-Alem
Thega-Alem, born and raised in San Diego, is the new Community Impact Coordinator at Happy Girl Club. She has a passion for exploring the outdoors, from sunrise hikes to beach sunsets, and loves discovering the city’s hidden gems, from cozy cafes to intimate live music spots. Traveling is also a key part of her life, and she values the connections she’s made with people, cities, and cultures around the world.
In her role at Happy Girl Club, Thega-Alem is excited to support the organization’s growth and create meaningful initiatives that make a positive impact in communities both near and far.
