About the Organization

The Summer Willis Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about sexual violence, supporting survivors, and advocating for systemic change in how sexual assault is addressed in communities and the legal system.

Founded by survivor and advocate Summer Willis, the organization works to transform personal trauma into collective action. After experiencing sexual assault and navigating gaps in the justice system, Willis began using endurance sports and public campaigns to spark national conversations about consent, survivor support, and legal reform.

Through advocacy efforts and public campaigns, the movement has:

• Increased national awareness around gaps in sexual assault laws
• Helped mobilize communities to support survivors
• Influenced policy and legislative reform around consent laws and survivor protections.
  

Together, we raised nearly $200 by dedicating a portion of the Self Defense Workshop ticket sales to the Summer Willis Foundation!
